Just one day after Hollywood sources spread news that Kristen Stewart and "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders had hooked up, both parties admitted to the unforeseen scandal.
Now, in midst of the heated drama, the 41-year-old director's wife Liberty Ross is doing her best to avoid the limelight.
On Wednesday (July 25), the model/actress who starred alongside the "Twilight" beauty in her husband's first feature film deleted her Twitter account, but not before leaving a few choice words of her own.
The 33-year-old scorned wife and mother of two first tweeted one simple word, "Wow," before later following up with a Marilyn Monroe quote in response to the news, which read, “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
After photos of KStew and Rupert started making their rounds last night, Ross has since deleted her social media account and has not released any further comment.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Liberty's husband released a statement earlier today saying, "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
The British director's statement came closely behind the public statement that the 22-year-old actress released to People explaining, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
