Lucy Lawless Faces 3 Years Jail Time Over Protests

Back in February, she trespassed on an oil drilling ship in New Zealand, and now Lucy Lawless could get the book thrown at her.

The “Xena: Warrior Princess” babe pled guilty to the charges, and if she gets the maximum penalty, she’ll be in jail for three years.

Lawless was joined by six other Greenpeace members as part of a protest that lasted for four days and ended in all of them being arrested.

Prior to the fiasco, Lucy told press, "This chapter has ended, but the story of the battle to save the Arctic has just begun. . .Seven of us climbed up that drill ship to stop Arctic drilling, but 133,000 of us came down."

"We will continue to stand in solidarity with the communities and species that depend on the Arctic for their lives until Shell cancels its plans to drill in this magical world, and makes the switch to clean, sustainable energy."
